Handbag Swap -- from Dee

I got a lovely purse/handbag from my partner.  I am so happy with it. She sent so many wonderful things and I am so happy she was partnered with me. :)

Totally cute handbag. One of my favorite color is pink and I really really love hot pink.  With so many lovely pockets I am going to make this my "church" purse. It has everything I need for going to church and it's quite pretty.

This cute bag contains a reusable shopping bag. Totally wonderful!. I've already filled it with books. It is going to be my library bag. :)

  • How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? I think I would be something like 25. I have a lot of life experiences, good and bad. And I am also very good at reflecting over things, haha.
  • Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying. I always feel worse if I never try, and if I fall, I learn something.
  • If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Hmm... Probably because the things we don't like to do are the things we have to do. I think we tend to like things that we can't do that often because it's so new and exciting.
  • When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? Probably not. We kind of speak more with our body than with words.
  • What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I want to stop capitalism, because it is the reason to wars, poverty and so much more.
  • If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? Climbing trees, it just gives me such a great feeling when I reach the top.
  • Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? I do what I believe in, because I like the idea of thinking before you speak.
  • If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Probably not, I am pretty happy with how my life is now, and I don't know what I would change.
  • To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? I was lucky enough to have a mother who supported my choices as long as that was what I wanted. I wanted to study drama in high school, which I didn't really have much experience with. She supported me anyways, and I'm glad she did, because that is one of the best choices I have ever made.
  • Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? I'm not really worried about doing the right thing, because I believe that taking the right choices shouldn't be so high pressure. Follow your gut feeling. But doing things right however is a little scary to me.
  • You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do? I would probably just sit there in silence and hope they get the point. And after that I probably would have regretted it like mad.
  • If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Don't take anything for granted
  • Would you break the law to save a loved one? If it was life or death, absolutely, because I would rather sit in jail or pay a fine than live without them.
  • Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity? Before I thought that modern art was super weird and stupid, but now I really see how everything is planned out in every single detail, and the story behind it is super important.
  • What’s something you know you do differently than most people? Haha, I eat ice cream really weird. I melt it in the microwave, then I drink it with a straw.
  • How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy? Because everyone is different, and thank God for that!
  • What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back? Probably backpacking. I still go to school, so I'm not able to because of that. Also, money is a huge issue.
  • Are you holding onto something you need to let go of? Probably social media. It consumes a lot of my time, and I try to stop using it but if I don't use it I kind of feel like I'm missing out on stuff.
  • If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? Probably Japan, because I went there last summer and it was amazing. People there are so polite and it is very safe, even for a young girl at night.
  • Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? No, I don't. I just push it once, because it obviously doesn't make it faster, haha.
  • Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Joyful simpleton. I think it is super important to focus on happiness, rather than what you have in your head.
  • Why are you, you? Because of my thoughts, my actions, and my feelings. I'm not my body, I am what I have in my brain.
  • Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? I think so. I make sure to keep in touch, but not too much, and I try to be there for them if they need it. I always make sure that my friends know that I'm there for them.
  • Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? Losing touch with a good friend who lives near me. Loosing friends is always super hard to deal with, and when they live close by stuff can get a little awkward.
  • What are you most grateful for? My friends. I have super nice friends, and they are very caring. Some friends come and go, but my best friend have, and always will, be there for me.
  • Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? I probably want to lose the old ones. I have some bad memories, and I really want to forget them, even if that means forgetting everything good I have experienced.
  • Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first? Yes, I think you can use your brain and research the topic without having to challenge it.
  • Has your greatest fear ever come true? To be honest, yes. But I don't really want to go in detail, because it is so new and it still hurts to talk about it.
  • Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now? No, I don't remember it, and no, it doesn't matter. I like to live more in the moment.
  • What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special? This is a super hard question, but I think it was when me and my sister was down at the beach by our cabin and fishing. We used homemade fishing rods, and we got small fishes that we boiled and gave to our cat. We could lay there for hours and try to get the fish to bite the bait.
  • At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? When I took an elevator that no one else dared to take... Stupid, but I felt kind of badass!
  • If not now, then when? When you feel like it! Don't pressure yourself to do stuff you don't feel like doing. Unless it is something you absolutely have to do, though.
  • If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose? Nothing! If you really want to achieve it you should be willing to take risks.
  • Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever? Many times! Me and my closest friends don't need to talk or use body language to communicate, we can just look at each other, and we just "talk" through our eyes. It's kind of like magic to me.
  • Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? I have no idea to be honest... It's a super hard question, and I'm not super religious myself.
  • Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? I don't think there is anything that is 100% evil or 100% good, so I don't really think you can find a clear difference without any doubt.
  • If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? I don't work, but I probably would still want to work, if not you don't have anything to do, and I don't think it would be fun sitting in my penthouse all day and watching movies in my home theatre, haha.
  • Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? Less work to do, because then I can choose to do what I enjoy whenever I want to.
  • Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before? No, I don't. I am currently in the capitol of Norway, Oslo, and doing some political stuff, haha. I do this rarely, so it feels very different.
  • When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in? I guess when I got together with my boyfriend. We didn't know each other that well, but now, 5 months later, we are doing great.
  • If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? My mom, because we have such a great relationship and she means so much to me. It would be hard to say goodbye to her, but I would want to make her last day the best.
  • Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous? No, not at all. I'm pretty happy with my looks, andI don't want to be famous at all. I just don't enjoy the attention that comes with it, and I want my life to be as long as possible.
  • What is the difference between being alive and truly living? When you are truly living you feel a lot of emotions, at least in my opinion.
  • When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right? Whenever you feel like just following your gut feeling. That is when I feel like just taking a risk, when my gut feeling says to follow my gut feeling, if that makes sense.
  • If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? I don't know, maybe because a mistake could lead to something bad? But what is important to remember is that a mistake can lead to something positive too.
  • What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? I would probably stop shaving my legs and armpits, and stop using a bra. I think it's ridiculous how expensive those things are, and if you choose not to use them you get judged.
  • When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing? Now, because I read this, haha. But before that, probably last night when I was falling asleep.
  • What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love? I love a lot of stuff, but one thing I really love is art. Very recently I doodled a bit, but I think that shows my love for it in a way, because I can fill all my notebooks, papers and bodies with it.
  • In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that? Probably not, because I just remember the rough outline of what I do. I rarely remember what I had for dinner for weeks, but I remember if I traveled to a new town for example.
  • Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you? I make them for myself! If I know what is best for me, I will do that, unless it really f***s up someone else up. Excuse my language, haha.
  • Free Your Mind --ElizabethObviously

    1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? In my mind, I feel like I would be about 25 or so. Old enough to have a bit of life experience but not sure old. If I went based on my illnesses or health issues, I would say probably 50. I have health issues I shouldn't have at my age (34)
    2. Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying. If you fail at least you can look at things and figure out what went wrong.  If you never try, you never grow as a person. And either one of two things will happen. You will fail (and hopefully try again) or you will succeed.
    3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Because as humans we do not understand that we are mortal and that we have a limited amount of time. We think we have all the time in the world and we don't. We do things we dislike because some of the things are things we MUST do. Pay bills, taxes, the dishes. And we don't do things we would like to do because the things we dislike take up too much time.
    4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? Yes. I will have said more than I have done but I think that is normal really. I think a lot of people say things, make plans and never get around to them.
    5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I would change the fact that so many people are close minded or have no empathy. I don't understand how people can spread so much hate and fear and not understand what the other person or people are feeling.
    6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you richReading! Or having sex! Or writing, like pen palling. Or going geocaching. A lot of little things make me happy really.
    7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? If I was doing what I believe in I would be a very mouthy person. I have so many thoughts that I just keep to myself most of the time because I hate conflict. So I guess I am settling.
    8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? Probably about the same. Maybe have kids sooner. Have more kids sooner. Love people more loud. Like show them my love and appreciation more.
    9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? Complete control. I own my actions and suffer the consequences. I understand completely that the things I did years ago have effected me today. So I am taking action today so years from now, things will be different.
    10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? I am worried about both really. I am a Virgo and perfectionism runs deep in my veins. I know I am basically doing the morally right things. I don't steal or cheat or kill people. But I hate criticism  and people critiquing me. It makes me fall apart really.
    11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do? Not reply and not hang out with those people anymore. No I take back the not reply part. I would ask WHY they think that of the person? I would defend my friend and then not hang out with the three people anymore. I would have have one good friend than three friends who talk shit behind your back.
    12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Don't take things so serious. I did this. I watched my grades so close and pushed myself so hard that I stressed myself out when it was not really necessary.
    13. Would you break the law to save a loved one? It depends on HOW I would be breaking the law. Rob a bank for bail money? No. But if it were having to kill someone or assault someone to get my child away from a bad person, yeah.
    14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity? I think the perfect example would be Jackson Pollock. That is what I think of when I hear creative insanity. His paintings to me look like just paint splattered everywhere. I honestly do not understand how or why they are so expensive. I suppose it is the placement of colors? Or the choice of colors?
    15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people? How I spend my day I suppose. Most people probably work or something. I am more laid back. I don't feel like I have much of a routine or schedule. And how I make money. I do online surveys for money. I have made over $100 so far just this year. Last year I used mainly survey money to buy Christmas gifts.
    16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy? Because everyone is different. Because everyone has experienced life in a different way, knows different things and in turn appreciates different things in life. I would not enjoy being a video gamer but my brother does because he has specific memories tied to video gaming. I would not enjoy going out to bars but my sister would. And they would not enjoy pen palling like I do.
    17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back? Having another child. My daughter will be 13 in May. I have not had another child because I have health issues that make having a child pretty dangerous. But honestly it breaks my heart to imagine my child as an only child. I grew up with 3 siblings so I know it is very important.
    18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of? Probably grudges against people. I tend to hold on to feelings for a very long time. It makes me become guarded and not fully trust a person.
    19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? I live in the USA, in Illinois which is right in the middle of the country. If I were to stay in the USA, maybe I would move somewhere on the east coast, for the history. My husband and I would love the old cemeteries. If I were to leave the USA, I would love to live in Ireland. I have never been there but I miss it. There is a magic that has pulled at my heart since I was a child.
    20. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? Nope I am a one push pusher. I know it does not go any faster with multiple pushes. I push and then listen and make mental bets on which set of doors will open.
    21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? I am already a worried genius (well not genius but pretty smart) and it is not that great. My husband is a joyful simpleton (not really simpleton but ...yeah) and he doesn't fear anything. He doesn't get stressed like I do. He just looks forward to the future and enjoying what life hands him. I wish I could be like that.
    22. Why are you, you? Because of how I was raised and the things I experienced in my life. Because of who I hung around with and the things I did. I am a puzzle that started with 2 pieces ( my mom and dad) and each experience and each person I met are added puzzle pieces.
    23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? I would like to think so. I am a good listener and I am very giving and thoughtful.
    24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? Losing tough with a good friend who is still close. You would see them at the store and know their secrets and personality but not really know them anymore. I have friends like this, people I was close to in high school and I see them now and it is awkward. Like oh hey remember when you had that crush on so and so...
    25. What are you most grateful for? My husband and daughter. My husband because he loves me so much. It is palpable. We have such a mental connection it is unreal. He will go to the store and I think Oh I wish I had told him to pick up....bananas or strawberry jelly or milk. And without me texting (we don't have phones) he will pick up what I thought about. It is amazing. And my daughter. I am grateful for her because she is a piece of me. She is a piece of me but she is her own person.
    26. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? Never make new ones. At least I would have the old ones to hold on to and think back on. And eventually the new ones would become old ones right?
    27. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first? I think you need to challenge everything. That is the way to see how strong it is. If you believe in something, research it, question its authenticity, ask questions. Do not blindly just accept something. That makes a person blind and gullible.
    28. Has your greatest fear ever come true? No but I am sure one day it will unless I die first. My biggest fear is my husband or daughter dying.
    29. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now? Of course not. Unless I mention it on Timehop! It does not matter now because things in the moment matter. And as time passes, details get fuzzy and may change and the feelings from it disappear.
    30. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special? There is a video of it. It is Christmas morning when I was 8 years old. Both sets of my grandparents were there so we have them on video! They have all passed away since then.  My parents are both there (my dad passed in 2013) My siblings are all little and we have no problems and no worries. My parents are so young. They are actually younger than I am now. To see them so young and so alive and so happy. To know they raised us kids and we looked up to them with so much love. I know that is how my daughter must see me.
    31. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? Simple things make me feel alive. Sometimes when we are out geocaching or driving on country roads and the weather is beautiful and I feel safe and I feel like my life is perfect despite it not being perfect. When I am not stressed or not hurting. It is just perfect.
    32. If not now, then when? When I am healthier. I would rather my family have me around than another child.
    33. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose? A lot of weight? I feel like that will help so many things in my life. I lose weight and hopefully will get rid of health problems. I won't stress as much. I can have another child, get a job.
    34. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever? When I first saw my husband...well officially saw him because I had seen him before...but when it was just us...we were both walking into a restaurant. I was walking in for a job interview and he was walking in to clock in. The world sped up around us and we moved in slow motion. It was surreal and perfect and I knew...I just KNEW...I would end up with him.
    35. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? Because those religions tend to also support money. Or the love of money. The people in charge love the money and the life style more than they love their religion. And they use that religion to gain more money.
    36. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? No. Because evil can disguise itself very well as something good. Evil knows how to look nice. Serial killers know how to blend in very well with normal people. Pedophiles know how to look like a loving father or a caring coach. Evil KNOWS it is evil and evil knows it has to appear good to pass in normal society.
    37. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? My job is a SAHM. I can not ever quit. Plus a million is not that much now. I would gut my house, add a room or two. Maybe buy a new vehicle for my husband and I put that is about all. And I know my husband would not quit his job. No one would even know we had money.
    38. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work that I enjoy. If you enjoy it, it is not work. If you enjoy it and it keeps you busy, it works out great. If you have less work, you would have more time but then you might not know what to do and you would end up wasting time doing nothing.
    39. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before? Yes. This usually happens when I go outside and notice the trees across the street having changed for the seasons. It seems like they change faster and faster as I get older.
    40. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in? When my husband stood outside my car as a guy I had a crush on, before he was my husband. It was late October and the rain was lightly falling. I sat in my car, talking to him. And he stood there in the rain. I am pretty sure he would have stood there until he got sick talking to me if I had not told him to just get in my car. And that was when I knew, he cared more about me, without hardly knowing me yet, than he cared for himself.
    41. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? My husband, my daughter, my family. Even the ones I don't really get along with much. I would also assume since I know myself, I too would be dying.
    42. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous? No fame and attractiveness are probably very over rated. I would rather be myself and have that 10 years to enjoy as a regular normal person. What about 1 year for some weight loss? Can we do that?
    43. What is the difference between being alive and truly livingBeing alive is doing the same routine things every day and not enjoying them. Truly living is seeing the things that are intricate and make each day better. The things that make each day unique and sparkle.
    44. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right? I guess when time starts getting tight, is when people start doing things instead of thinking about them.
    45. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? Because no one likes to mess up. No one likes to think back and replay the situation which we all do. No one likes playing the shoulda woulda coulda cards.
    46. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? Do a boudoir shoot. I have done one but I would love to do more. Show more. Buy a cute lacy outfit and flaunt it for the pictures.
    47. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing? My daughter pulls this on me all the time.  She will run up to me and say You are aware of your own breathing. And then I forget how to breathe for a second...and forget the mechanics of breathing. And it is just weird.
    48. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love? I love when my husband connects with me psychically. He knows me so well that I can just think about wanting something and he gets it. The fact that he knows me so well shows me he loves me.
    49. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that? I can't even remember today what I did yesterday honestly. I know certain dates will stick with me, like when I hit 100 pounds lost. Or my daughter's birthday. Or the day my husband and I started dating. Though not our wedding day. We count our dating day as our anniversary. Our wedding was just a courthouse thing.
    50. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you? I make them for myself. I am responsible for me and my actions. I do feel like I need to make more decisions though.

End of Year Questions 2016 -- Kygirl

1 What did you do in 2016 that you had not done before?
nothing I can think of, I did alot but nothing new.
2 Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions/goals for the year and will you make/set more for next year?
What are the goals? What are your new ones? I don't make New Years Resolutions, I did in the past and never followed thru. I think either we will do it OR not, with or without a resolution.
3 Did anyone you know give birth? Or become pregnant?
my nephews girlfriend had a baby, it was their 3rd and her 9th!!!!
4 Did anyone you know die? Or have a serious illness?
No and I Thank God. I have been through enough grief and heartache to last a lifetime, my 28yr old son & my mom died suddenly within 6 weeks of each other in 2010.
5 What places have you visited?
I have been to all US states except Vermont, Main & Mass. I have also been to Mexico & the Bahamas twice.
6 What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016 (doesn't have to be a physical thing)?
if I can continue with my good health I wish for happiness and alittle more income. I just need to pay my bills and have some grocery money, lol
7 What date from 2016 will remain etched in your memory and why?
No certain date stands out to me.
8 What was your biggest achievement this year?
rebuilding my eBay (selling account). I use to be a full time seller but gave it up in a move to another state. I really enjoy it!
9 Did you get sick or injured? How about your family?
I broke my little toe, it is was so painful! It took about 2 months to heal.
10 What was the best thing you bought?
a new laptop, I needed it to continue working. My old one was taped to the desk so it would keep the power cord in because if it came unplugged it was hard to get started again.
11 Where did most of your disposable income go (money leftover after you pay for food, transportation and shelter)?
Eating at restaurants! We eat out 4 or 5 nights a week. Other than that we enjoy going to the movies once a month,
12 What song will always remind you of 2016?
I only listen to contempory Christian music, Amazing Grace is my favorite song every year.

eat! I only eat 2 meals a day but they are huge! lol
15 What was your favorite new TV program? Movie? Album/Songs? Or if you didn't pick up any new ones, what are you still watching/listening to? I always enjoy The Big Bang Theory and Medical Mystery documentaries. I saw a great movie, Don't Breathe.
16 What was the best book you read this year?
How many did you read? I haven't read any new books this year. I read Angel Fall by Nora Roberts a couple years ago, it is awesome!
17 What did you do on your birthday and how old were you? Did you feel differently?
My boyfriend took me out to eat. I turned 52. I felt the same, lol
18 What political or social issue stirred you the most?
None, I stay out of all that drama, I did go to see Donald Trump give a spech back in the summer. He was coming to a town within 30 miles of where I live so I thought it was a once in a lifetime event for me!

23 Do you think you are still the same person that you were at the beginning of the year?

Would You Rather? Round 5 -- CarrieB

    1. Would you rather be poor and work at a job you love, or rich and work at a job you hate? I think I would rather be poor and work at a job that I love because if you love it then it isn’t really work, right?
    2. Would you rather have your flight delayed by 8 hours or lose your luggage? Having flown many times and had many flights delayed I’d rather just have them lose my luggage.  I always travel with minimal things anyways so I could just go grab a few things from the store instead of sitting in an airport for longer than I have to.
    3. Would you rather be in your pajamas or a suit all day? Um pajamas all the way.
    4. Would you rather have your first child when you are 18 or 40? Not having any children myself I am on both sides of the fence on this.  Having one at 18 would let me still be young into their adult years and get to enjoy that time.  On the other hand, having one later would give me the time to learn more about life and the ways of the world.
    5. Would you rather be the star player on a losing basketball team or ride the bench on a winning one? Star on a losing team.  As long as everyone is playing and having fun that is what matters.
    6. Would you rather spend the next year exempt from all taxes or have a one-month paid vacation? Tax exempt because then I could save up the money and take myself on a vacation and have spending money.
    7. Would you rather have the best house in a bad neighborhood or the worst house in a good neighborhood? Being in the military I’ve seen some pretty shady parts of town (they tend to not be far from the bases a lot of times) so I would have the worst house in a good neighborhood and then not have to worry about my safety.
    8. Would you rather be filthy rich and live 400 years ago or be poor but live today? Live 400 years ago and see the colonization of America.
    9. Would you rather be gossiped about or never talked about at all? Never talked about.  If you don’t have anything nice to say….That old saying
    10. Would you rather end hunger or hatred? Hmm this is a tough one but I’m going to say hatred because then maybe in turn there would be a little more love to go around and in turn hunger would be ended because more people would reach out to others.

    Would You Rather? Round 5 -- Kimt1989

    1. Would you rather be poor and work at a job you love, or rich and work at a job you hate?
I think rich and work a job I hate because at least then I wouldn't have to work as many years and could save/invest the money I've made to work less.

    2. Would you rather have your flight delayed by 8 hours or lose your luggage?
Delayed. I'd rather loose a bit of time than my possessions.

    3. Would you rather be in your pajamas or a suit all day?
Pajamas all the way - way more comfortable and I don't even own a suit.

    4. Would you rather have your first child when you are 18 or 40?
18 - I wanted to have my children young so I would have plenty of energy to take care of them and live longer in their lives and hopefully my grandchildren's lives. I had my first child at 21.

    5. Would you rather be the star player on a losing basketball team or ride the bench on a winning one?
On the bench. I'm not big on any sports anyway so I'd rather be a part of success and not have to do anything haha.

    6. Would you rather spend the next year exempt from all taxes or have one-month paid vacation?
Paid vacation for sure. I don't actually work because I'm a full time Mother but give me a vacation away and I'm super happy.

    7. Would you rather have the best house in a bad neighborhood or the worst house in a good neighborhood?
The worst house in a good neighborhood because at least then you can work on it to improve it.

    8. Would you rather be filthy riche and live 400 years or poor but live today?
Poor but live today. I can't imagine living without all the things we all take for granted today.

    9. Would you rather be gossiped about or never talked about at all?
Never talked about at all. Having attention for all the wrong reasons isn't worth having any attention at all.

    10. Would you rather end hunger or hatred?
Hunger. The fact people are dying all over the world still just from hunger is crazy.

Would You Rather? Round 5 -- SamsStuff

    1. Would you rather be poor and work at a job you love, or rich and work at a job you hate? Having worked at jobs I hate, for most of my life, but having to still be poor, I would like for all that hard work to actually pay off. I know that there is satisfaction to working at a job you love, but it is dissatisfying, after little to no time, to work hard, whether or not you love the job & receive little in return.
    2. Would you rather have your flight delayed by 8 hours or lose your luggage? I'm very uncomfortable with airport delays, but I wouldn't want to spend a large portion of a trip replacing things that were lost, so I would probably prefer the delay.
    3. Would you rather be in your pajamas or a suit all day? Pajamas would be more comfortable, but after awhile I'd want to get dressed. There is a feeling of confidence that comes with wearing a suit, so I'd probably choose the suit.
    4. Would you rather have your first child when you are 18 or 40? Well, having had a child at 34, I learned that at an older age, you are more prepared, but have less energy. I think I'd still prefer having a child at an older age.
    5. Would you rather be the star player on a losing basketball team or ride the bench on a winning one? I think I'd rather be a star player on a losing team. What's the point of even joining a team, if you're not going to play?
    6. Would you rather spend the next year exempt from all taxes or have a one-month paid vacation? Probably the one month paid vacation.
    7. Would you rather have the best house in a bad neighborhood or the worst house in a good neighborhood? I'd rather have the worst house in a good neighborhood. In most cases, it would be easier to improve the house than the neighborhood.
    8. Would you rather be filthy rich and live 400 years ago or be poor but live today? Probably, be poor, but live today. We romanticize the past, but even the very rich 400 years ago didn't have the conveniences we have today.
    9. Would you rather be gossiped about or never talked about at all? It's easier to not be talked about at all than to be gossiped about, people can get things so wrong when they gossip.
    10. Would you rather end hunger or hatred? While ending hunger would go a long way towards ending hatred, by ending hatred first, you could more easily end hunger.
